This is a plot which is represented by splitting a number into stem and leaf where stem will be on left and leaf is on the right place, generally stem and leaf shows the place value.

For an example we can split 93 as 9 as a stem and 3 as a leaf.

**Example**: - The following data represent the costs (in dollars) of a sample of 20 postal mailing by a company.

1.83 1.93 2.78 3.34 3.20

3.21 4.95 5.42 4.84 4.10

3.45 5.11 1.97 2.84 4.15

Using dollars as a stem and cents as a leaf construct a stem and leaf plot of the data.
