ACT is an abbreviation of American College Testing assessment, and it is a standardized test taken by high school students who plan to continue education in colleges and universities in the United States. ACT scores are recognized by the academic departments of schools and colleges and therefore recognize student’s capability based on their performance. ACT test paper consists of 4 main sections: English, Mathematics, Reading and Science reasoning. ACT plus Writing is an additional option available to students who prefer to take the writing test as some colleges prefer ACT scores including the writing score of the students.
In order to pay the fee for the ACT test, the fastest method is the online method. Students can first register online for free on ACT official website and create their account and complete the registration process. ACT (no Writing) option is for students who would like to take the test only in 4 sections excluding the writing section. The test price for this option is $36.50 and it includes giving results to the students, their respective high school and to up to 4 desired college choices. ACT plus Writing option is for students who would like to get their writing score as well, and for additional writing section it would cost additional $16.00 for the test. There can be extra registration charges and services based on the necessity of a student. After paying the appropriate fee through a valid card, students can get their admission tickets to take the test.
